Public Enemies Continued Filming Today

Filming early afternoon with Johnny as Dillinger and the gang shooting there way into a getaway car, Johnny takes cover from gunfire then falls down to the ground after being wounded during the filming of a scene which took place on north main street.
Cast and crew return to Oshkosh Wednesday.

Filming of a bank robbery scene downtown on Wednesday. Johnny managed again to meet with fans Wednesday April 16th after a day of shooting.

Johnny Depp is lead away from an airplane by extras posing as F.B.I. agents during the filming of "Public Enemies" at Wittman Regional Airport Friday evening.

Film crews moving to Oshkosh, WI for filming of Public Enemies, The First National Bank, being one of the locations. Filming apparently will take place between the 11- 20th April, crews have already moved onto main street installing awnings and the cobblestone street is being laid in front of the Library and Masonic Temple.
Johnny Saves Extras From Injury
There was a near tragedy on the set of Johnny Depp’s latest film ‘Public Enemies’. British newspaper News of the World reports that Johnny Depp risked his own life in order to save that of six extras while on the set of “Public Enemies.” The 44-year-old actor was shooting a scene as bank robber John Dillinger when a stunt-driver in a 1933 Ford car sped onto a patch of ice and lost control of the vehicle. The Extras all had their backs turned to the potential danger but luckily for them, Johnny Depp was on the scene and jumped into action screaming ‘Get out of the way!’, and literally slammed into the group with arms outspread, shoving them all back just as the car slammed into the curb a few feet away.”

Johnny emerges after a long day of filming. He met with fans in the early hours of Tuesday morning along Galena Boulevard at the Paramount Theater in Aurora.
No Outside Filming In Aurora, Sunday
Film trucks are seen unloading for Sunday's shoot in Aurora. 100's of people showed up for the shoot waiting for a glimpse of Johnny. Alas it was not to be as there was no outside filming Sunday. Apparently Johnny was to arrive this morning for one day of filming.
