UK cinemas say they have a right to choose what films they show. We are running a poll asking you if you think the Odeon Cinema is right to refuse to play Alice In Wonderland Vote now and let us know what you think
You could argue that cinemas will loose 4 weeks revenue but on the other hand it could increase their revenue being a 3D movie. Although most people don't really pay attention to how many weeks movies run, if advertised as limited release people would more likely go see it in the first 8 weeks of showing.

~The Mad Hatter's Famous Cover~
The Mad Hatter is on the February cover of Cineplex "Famous" Magazine. Inside Tim Burton talks about his vision for Alice.
Burton wanted his Alice In Wonderland to have an emotional grounding he felt was missing from earlier version.“There are so many stories of Alice in Wonderland,” says Burton, evoking the book’s sequel, Through the Looking Glass. “The goal was to take the random elements of the books and make its own story. They don’t really follow a specific linear structure. I just wanted to try and do a version that’s like a movie.”
"Every character is weird, but I tried to give them their own specific weirdness so that they're all different." he says. “The real attempt was to try to make Alice feel more like a story as opposed to a series of events.”If you would like to read the full article. ~Return To Wonderland Wednesday Week 3 ~
Into week three of Disneys Wonderand Wednesday and today we get to look at some new conscept art and an introduction to Bandersnatch, The Dodo, Bayard th Bloodhound.
THE DODO (voice of Michael Gough) is one of the first residents of Underland Alice sees upon entering the fantastical world. One of the oldest Underland inhabitants, the Dodo wears eye-glasses and carries a walking stick. Both quiet and wise, he stops his friends bickering over Alice’s true identity by suggesting they bring her to the even wiser Absolem.
BAYARD THE BLOODHOUND (voice of Timothy Spall) is an unwilling accomplice to the Red Queen’s forces, fearful that his imprisoned wife and pups will be injured if he doesn’t do Stayne’s bidding. He proves to be secretively loyal to the Underland Underground resistance, becoming both Alice’s ally and a rather convenient transportation system.
THE BANDERSNATCH is a disgusting, drooling, foul-smelling creature with a big filthy body and the squashed, teeth-baring face of a rabid bulldog. A swipe of his long claws leaves Alice with a rather painful reminder of the Red Queen’s horrible reign.

~Alice In Wonderland New White Queen Image With Q&A ~
Busness Wire has posted a new Image of The White Queen in Tim Burtons Alice In Wonderland and a Q&A with Anne Hathaway.
When asked about Johnny Depp who plays The Mad Hatter. Anne says: I have so much fun watching him in all of his movies as an audience member, so to actually get to watch him perform live is such a treat. He’s so inventive—and he’s kind, just a very kind, warm man. But to actually watch him in his element, in his zone, just acting, it’s a thrill. I want him to do theater so that everyone else can get in on it. He’s very powerful. I just felt very privileged to get to watch him. You can read the full Q&A here
