~Johnny Depp Does Comedy For Childrens Hospice~

Chanel Four are holding a Comedy Gala in aid of Great Ormand Streets Childrens Hospital. The event is to take place on April 1st at The O2 Arena in front of a live audience of 14,000 people. Comedians include Alan Carr, Andy Parsons, Bill Bailey, Catherine Tate, Christine Bleakley, David Mitchell, The Fonejacker, Jack Whitehall, Jack Dee, James Corden, Jason Manford, Jo Brand, John Bishop, Jonathan Ross, Kevin Bridges, Kevin Eldon, Lee Evans, Mark Watson, Michael McIntyre, Noel Fielding, Patrick Kielty, Rich Hall, Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones, Sean Lock, and Shappi Khorsandi take turns on stage to make it the biggest live stand up show in UK history. The Gals event will be shown on Channel 4 on Monday 5th April and will include added performances by Stomp with Alan Carr and Bill Bailey. Plus, Robert Webb, Ricky Gervais, Derren Brown, Kevin Bishop, Jimmy Carr, Gok Wan, Stephen Merchant and Johnny Depp will provide additional sketches. An uncut version of the full 3 hour show is to be released on DVD by Universal Pictures on Monday 26 April 2010.

~GK-Films Website Update Starts With The Tourist~

Up until recently GK Films had nothing on their website except their name, but now, they have a small update with a picture of Venice and with top billing going to Angelina Jolie for The Tourist. Angelina has been attached to The Tourist from the beginning as stated by Graham King in an Interview with Collider. Is Penelope Cruz set to romance Captain Jack? Well that is the story Jack would tell,and he may be a bit of a Scallywag, but even he deserves some lovin. According to Jerry Bruckeimer Captain Jack has a new love interest, but it it's not going to be easy being she is the daughter of Blackbeard.

~Johnny Depp To Attend Japan's Premiere of Alice In Wonderland~

 
According to Japan today Johnny will make a 15-hour visit to Japan next Monday, arriving in a private jet for the Japan premiere of Tim Burton’s adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland,” before flying back to Italy that night. He will also attend a press conference in Tokyo at 1 p.m., and is scheduled to attend an event for fans as well as greet the audience at the Japan premiere. Alice is due to open in Japan on the 17th April.  Not sure how he does it and apart from being one of the busiest stars he must be exhausted.

~Arizona Dream Now Available Through Warner Bros~

Directed by Emir Kusturica Arizona Dream was made in 1991 but not actually released till 1993. The film is made up of eccentric characters who all have a dream of their own and see their dream to be more important than the other. Axel (Johnny Depp) is a dreamer who is happy with his life until he is taken to Arizona to work in the family business of selling cars. At first he is reluctant to stay but then he gets involved with two strange women: Elaine (Faye Dunaway), a woman who always had a dream of building a flying machine, and Grace (Lili Taylor), Elaine's stepdaughter who is jealous of Elaine and dreams to kill herself and be reincarnated as a turtle. This film can be described by some as strange and quirky but it is definitely an original. Make sure you listen to Axel’s opening monologue as it explains a lot of the film’s symbolism. ~Casting Call for Pirates Of The Caribbean On Stranger Tides~

Sande Alessi is now casting for Pirates 4: On Stranger Tides. She is holding an open casting call for MEN ONLY at this time, to be PIRATES, BRITISH and SPANISH SAILORS this spring.

Here is the announcement from Sande Alessi: I will be casting: Dirty, lettuce eating scavengers and character types to play Pirates, ages 18 to 60s, all ethnicities. British sailors (in white powdered wigs) Caucasian men, ages 18-50s. Spanish sailors, ages 18 to 50s. In this portion of the film we will not need ANY women. All of our scenes take place at sea or in intimate deserted island type locations. So sorry ladies! No wenches or female pirates in Hawaii. Ladies will appear in the film while we shoot in other locations. No experience necessary. Men must be legally over age 18 by June 7th, 2010. Recently we saw Avril Lavigne's Music Video "Underground" featured in the movie. Now we have the release of Kerli's "Tea Party" official music video which she performed for the Almost Alice Compilation. Kerli performed two songs for Almost Alice including the song "Strange" that she performed with Tokyo Hotel. Almost Alice in currently number 5 in the Billbord Hot 200.

~ Gore Verbinski's Rango Release Date & Logo~

This seems to be the new logo for Rango, which stars Johnny Depp as Rango. Paramounts animated feature is set for release on March 18th 2011. Rango also stars Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin & Bill Nighy. You can read the synopsis below.

~Alice In Wonderland Takes Biggest 3D Bow Ever~

Alice In Wonderland has become a major hit thus far beating out Avatar for opening weekend. Taking the biggest 3D bow ever and best March release ever and currently the highest grossing movie of 2010. Alice has taken a total estimated domestic of $116,101,023 for it's opening weekend (updated 03/08). Alice In Wonderland has also taken $94,000,000 as of March 7th for Foreign Grosses. The United Kingdom was Alice's top foreign market with an estimated $16.8 million (the highest non-sequel start ever there), followed by Italy $13.9 million, Russia $12.3 million, and Australia $9.2 million.(updated 03/08) Alice's worldwide weekend was an estimated $210,101,023, ranking as the 14th biggest worldwide launch ever.

Some critics have slammed Alice In Wonderland but it looks like Disney has had the last laugh because no one is listening to them. It is also sad that Dick Cook and Oren Aviv will not be around to share in the success being as Disney had their heads chopped off ironically for not making enough money. This will also be Depp & Burton's highest grossing movie the two have ever made.

If you follow is on Facebook then you will have already read this Magazine Online. Written by Lizzie Cline and titled "Only If You Believe" Pure Genius, Gifted, The Most Talented Man of Our Generation. These are phrases consistintly heard with the name Johnny Depp. Countless Articles & Books have been written about this mysterious man, and yet, Johnny will only smile coyly and point out that he is just a regular guy.

Babybird's Unloveable music video directed by Johnny Depp will be shown for the first time at Yahoo Music on Monday 8 March, this will be an edited version of the video. In An Interview with Fashion Magazine Amber Hear talks about Johnny Depp & The Rum Diary. She also mention about Johnny caring nature which we ae well aware of.

“Johnny cared so much, and he’s just a really down-to-earth, nice person.” Heard recalls the day Depp rescued a stray dog from the neighbourhood where they were shooting. “Well, the dog ended up being pregnant—I think it had six puppies—and then another dog we assumed to be the father showed up,” she recalls, laughing. “So now, instead of adopting one dog, he had eight, but he took care of them. He asked other people to carry one back on the plane because he had so many.”
